30 Things I've Learned: #17

 -Be curious.

I've been told numerous times "you ask SO many questions". Fact. Too many? Arguable (they would say yes, I would say there's always more to be asked). But more often than not questions have helped me (quickly) decide if something was right for me. A guy I dated always told me "assuming makes an ass out of you and me". It annoyed me (a lot), but he was right.

Asking questions helped me end relationships, jobs and inversely helped me enter into new ones. Sometimes the only person on the receiving end of all my Q&A is me. I frequently assess and reassess my current life status. Am I happy? Content? What could I do different? Better?

Being in a state of inquiry has been the constant in my ever evolving and changing life. It has helped more than it has hurt.........even if it has annoyed.
