I've had friends who lived abroad (some for short amounts of time, some have never come back) and friends who took 10 months off to travel the world.  I struggle with the need to stay and the urge to run.  I like having a place to call home, an address to write down, a bed I know is all mine so I've never personally felt the need to live the hostel life for a year.  However, I can only stay put for so long until my wanderlust kicks in and the trip planning commences. I could spend hours looking up trips, flights, hotels - ways to make it all affordable. So where to next?
