How early is too early..................
"Is it too soon to go to the airport?"
-Me, 48 hours before my flight
I'm not sure if I'm more excited to go to San Francisco or more excited to get the hell out of the arctic tundra (there is no point in checking the weather as long as a '-' sign precedes the number). I haven't done much to prepare for this trip, by much I actually mean nothing. I've been dealing with numerous things on the job front, feeling under the weather, and taking enough yoga to not plummet into seasonal affective disorder. So while I've been super excited (ok, counting the days) I've also been super distracted.
Now to focus. Important things - wineries. The first time I went I did a day tour from SF to Napa. It was an affordable tour so we went to very commercialized and mass marketed wineries. They weren't bad, just not really the quaint and charming Napa experience I had been looking forward too. It also didn't help that the bus seats seemed mere inches apart and two of the girls on the tour were wasted by winery #2. This time I am renting a car to head up to Napa and have enlisted friends advice on their favorites. Sadly my favorite wine - The Prisoner - does not offer a tour or a tasting room - I emailed to verify once I didn't see it on their website. However, there are plenty of good ones and the below are the recommendations I've gotten so far:

-Eat great food
-Do some vintage shopping
-Get lost on random streets
-Laugh until I cry
-Be in love....with my life...every minute of it
oh yah....and wear open toe shoes....
Can I go to the airport now?!
